Short version: Speeko does not collect, store, or sell your voice data or transcriptions. Your audio is processed locally on your device and never leaves it.
Speeko is a local Windows desktop application. By default, all audio recording and transcription happens entirely on your device using an on-device speech model. We do not have access to your microphone, your recordings, or your transcribed text.
For Pro users who opt in to cloud transcription, audio is sent over an encrypted HTTPS connection to our transcription API solely to process the transcription request. Audio is discarded immediately after processing and is never stored, logged, or analysed.
When you purchase a Pro license, your transaction is processed by our payment provider (2Checkout/Verifone). We receive only your email address and license key for the purpose of activating your software. We do not store payment card details.
Speeko does not currently include any analytics SDK or crash reporting service. No usage telemetry is transmitted from the app. If this changes in a future version, this policy will be updated and users will be notified.
All application settings and configuration are stored locally on your computer at:

Speeko is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the new policy on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the software after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
